Thanks guys,
@Medpal: dude, can u throw more info on the actual process and any risks/sideeffects on this process
I am 27. from chennai / India
Any good centers in India, who do it best (if u r aware)
It is like after assessing your scalp skin doctor will (under local anesthesia) take up a piece of your scalp skin with hairs from the back of your head(occipital region).
Then you may be shifted back to your bed or recovery room after stitching the wound.
Doctor and his team sets on dissection whole skin parchment in claring every one hair out of it with hair root. when this is done.
You are taken back in to operation table local anesthesia given to bald area and then another tidious procedure starts.
Doctor pokes / inserts a big needle onto the area where new hairs are to be put, after that needle is withdrawn slightly and from beeveled edge area one hair is glided in to the skin a small instrument. Needle is withdrawn and hair sticks there.
After sometime the part above the skin of hair transplanted wears of, at about 3/4 months the new hairs atarts to regrow.
During the initial 2 weeks your scalp looks like a small POLKA DOtted cloth due to haemorrhagic spots of needle insertion.
Remember these new hairs never fall again in their lifetime so you almost never become bald again and you can take care of them as well as normal hair, infact they are the normal hair of yourself just shifted to a new home.
This is the best I could put in common terms, and its not that much painfull.
I dont know anyone in chennai, who is renowned. If you have some doctor in your circles / family ask them.
Before you select your doctor do take multiple consultations and also meet personally to some patients who have recently underrgone the procedure within last week to get the first hand knowledge how you will find yourself.
