Sadly the price has increased almost by 20-25 $ which makes the purchase insensible after applying the taxes and stuff.

Then opt for G2020 - at it's current priced paired with a H61 the performnace it offers is just excellent.

Amazon.com has dropped the price to $55 making it 74.97 shipped to Mumbai incl import fees deposit. That's rs. 4.5k for a haswell. Get in on this!

if you don't have high end GPU and have something in range of 670 then this cpu will perform same as i7 4770k..

The Pentium G3220 is available at Delta, which means it has 'officially' launched in India. Forgot to ask the price though.

The ones on Amazon were probably imports which would explain the absurd pricing.

Review, but engineering-sample.

We've run the engineering-sample processor, provided by Intel, at the default 3.2GHz. Obtaining these numbers provides a frame for reference once we overclock it. Using the stock heatsink and dialling voltage up to 1.20V (from 1.10V) we managed to increase the base multiplier to 44x, or a final, stable speed of 4,400MHz.​
