PC Peripherals Having problems with Dell?

Dell is concentrating in unethical business practices in India...

I figured out one thing that dell uses the customer's money to manipulate it and earn whatever interest it can within the time period and keep the customer hanging. This is one CHEAP technique of dell. Dell in usa announces 2-day delivery is that true or another of its fake promises ???

Now that VAT has been reduced, dell has promised me to refund some money back for my S2409W (actual rate of the monitor being 15K change + vat = Rs18900). They will getback to me on how much refund I will get.
Anyone who have not received the monitor yet immediately call their toll free.
 
Update: Got a call from Dell today, they informed me that while getting the monitor the invoice will have some changes in price due to vat.

If there is no change in the invoice that is received there wont be refunds.

Also the refund will take time to get processed.
 
Apparently they are reviewing all recent orders and supposedly calling up each customer about the refund due to reduction in VAT. It is supposed to happen automatically and within 7-8 working days (though after this experience I will never believe their quotes as to days! :P ).

I have received everything now - Dell S2409W monitor, along with free goodies as goodwill gesture (Dell Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse Combo, and BH200 Bluetooth Headset).

Damn I didn't receive any free goodies during my purchase of dell monitor, man you are so lucky first you get a free PS3 and now free Dell goodies as well.

Well, take into consideration the fact that the monitor that was supposed to be delivered to me in 8-9 days (at the latest), was finally delivered to me in 29 days!!

Free ps3 - yes I am lucky :D but Dell goodies - that's the least they could have done (not to mention I really had to fight them in this case).

But all in all, I am happy :)
