Have hdfc debit cards started working with paypal?
Hdfc claims that even their netsafe cards made through netbanking have started working on paypal and amazon. Can anyone confirm?

Yes! I have already attached and verified my HDFC debit card successfully with Paypal last month. Have not tested with netsafe but it should also work.

Is netsafe working for you or the debit card? OP is asking about netsafe.

When we use netsafe, a new card number is generated each time we load some money into the card. Right?
When we register a new card with Paypal, Paypal does a small value transaction and we have to enter the security code visible in card statement into Paypal to verify the card.

Each Netsafe card was valid only for a single transaction. The moment paypal does the money transfer for verification, the Netsafe card would expire.

Has HDFC or Paypal changed their process?

How would one make the payment without adding the card ?

^err.. I mean Pay by paypal > Enter Card number and done. Thats what I did last time
