Headphones:Sony MDR-XD400 or Beyerdynamic DT 235?

Hello guys,
I am going for headphones primarily for music.
I have narrowed down to Sony MDR-XD400 and Beyerdynamic DT 235 both costing around $60.
My budget is around $70.
Could you comment on the above headphones or any other better headphones for that price range.

i own a beyerdynamic DT231 and absolutely love it in terms of sound quality.
Since DT235 is actually an upgraded version of DT 231 so u can't go wrong buying it .
remember though that these are supraaural cans and not circumaural
 
hey titana,since you own the 231, how is the comfort level.

Can you wear them for hours without hurting your ears?
