Looking for heavy duty battery charger, mainly for inverter battery.
Scenario - village home which I visit once in a month or so has an inverter and 150AH 12V battery. Works fine as only small appliances are connected when I am away. Like few security cameras etc.
No major power cuts in the area, but the battery goes down once in a while, like when there is some problem with wiring of the house, with meter etc. Happened recently and I had to give it to the battery shop guy as the inverter alone won't do it if the battery voltage goes down a lot, like less than 8V etc. Problem is, the nearest city is 15km away and the guy charge a lot for it.
Are there good heavy duty battery chargers which can be used for batteries whose voltage is pretty low? How much they cost (average) usually? Any members here use those?
