Well Guys ...
today i got the exclusive offer to get a Dell 2408WFP (S-PVA) for the unbelieveable price of 25.8k (rupees).
eventually after hearing this once in a lifetime offer i went a bit crazy...
but after going thru some reviews i found it suffers from Input LAG and colorshift....

currently i have been using a dell E228WFP and i m not at all satisfied with especially the very very bad viewing angles.

but i am really confused that shud i buy the 2408 for the price of 25.8k with 5yrs warranty ...

plz advice peepz.

i have already transferred money but the order will be processed tomorrow.

hence if any useful suggestion plz give now... i mite then cancel/or let the order process based on ur all inputs.
 
i dont know about this monitor, but you mentioned a friend of yours has the same model? is it possible for you to physically take a look at the lcd yourself and decide?
 
Googling does reveal a few threads with people facing the problem of input lag with this monitor. Since you cannot test it before buying why not cancel the order. Rs 25K is no small amount.
Wait for a few months and you may see newer revisions fixing this issue. BTW I did see a youtube video comparing the input lag. It was noticable.
 
you know dells policy dude..
you can get it exchanged /refunded/ exchanger-for -your -go..
If u think its a good offer, worth the chance then...
