Help me with buying a lappy for 60K

He needs to buy a laptop with good config for Rs.60k.

Uses: Lots of intense programming, real time Video editing, etc..

Acer ferrari series is for 90K and sony vaio is all looks and less play.

I cant give you the link to the acer aspire 4062 as the indian arm of the site isnt loading right now.

http://www.acer.co.in/products/notebooks/tm4600.html is what one should consider for the 60k budget. Get it till it lasts. Its insane they are selling it for so cheap.

acer tm 4600 for 58 k as Sourabh said ... best deal u can get

ask the acer guys to give you 512 mb ram and they will upgarde it for free or charge u max 2k extra.

Intel extreme is not the thing to go for if you spending 60K. also this one is 333Mhz only.

This is the 4060 series link..
The 4061 is what I got and that is 41K.
for the actual config and real prices of the 4062 visit an acer store. If I had another 10K or more I would have certainly gone for 4062.

hi guys even i was planning to buy a lappy of around 60k but i am confused between acer 4600(1.6 ghz,256mb,60gb)=58k or
compaq presario v4103ap(2.0ghz,512mb,100,gb)=64k(not sure,please correct if wrong),rest every thing is same,

u can go to dell.com or alienware.com or compaq.com....there is option to evaluate the price rather i can to configure ur own laptop.i mean....select all the h/w ..u want in ur laptop and after u fix everything. they ll give the price.thats better.try it.
