4) best of luck with abacus in cause you have to replace :P

did anyone have some bad experience with abacus?

@arun687

im planning to check with different proccy and psu today.

i think you did not reset bios by moving jumper.

please refer board manual and reset cmos n bios as mentioned in manual.

this happened with me too after unlocking without setting HT = 1.6GHz.

also the specific bios version results in no display after unlock.

just reset and reboot.

hi guys. thanks for all your help.
i have found out that the issue is with my PSU.
When i connected my friends PSU, my system was working fine.

i tried that. i even removed the battery for some time and inserted it back.
any way, now the issue is identified as a bad psu.
thanks for your suggestion.

you need to disconnect mains.. then remove battery... set JCMOS jumper from pin 1-2 position to pin 2-3 position... leave it there for 10sec...
replace the jumper to original position.. insert battery.
switch it ON ..

(that's why i told you to refer manual once)

the issue is reported as BAD PSU but its not correct... i had the exact similar issue hence advising the solution i used.

for clearing the CMOS, its not required.
it can be cleared either way. Either we can insert the jumper into 2 and 3 OR we can remove the battery for 10 secs.

The CMOS will be cleared both ways. no need to do both at the same time.

any way, i have resetted my bios to default settings. ( that was the first thing i did after my motherboard refused to post). and today only i have found out that the issue is not with bios or mobo. it was just a faulty psu.
