clown_abhi said:It's not bcoz of cable used, since i have been using it in VGA like many others and dnt face the problem.
And moreover, there is no difference between VGA or DVI on these monitors.
So, probably u can do a windows update for the latest drivers for the monitor and u should be done. Give it a try and let us know how it goes...:hap2:
paraman said:Well, in my case the issue was solved definitely due to the cable. No more messages after the cable change. You are right about there being no difference in quality between VGA and DVI. I certainly didn't see any noticeable change.
But please tell me how updating the drivers is going to stop the message from appearing while we are in DOS. I mean, the error message only appears till windows is not loaded, right. Once windows loads, the message goes away.

As morgoth said that this happens for him during gaming, did u read that? Dats why i said drivers might resolve the issue.
Everyone here using this monitor with VGA cable would be getting it during bootup.
Dats normal coz VGA cable can't automatically keep the native resolution but in the OS, its set to native or whatever which is handled by the drivers.
Whereas all settings are done automatically in case of DVI, due to which u dnt get any message be it during bootup or any other time. Dats it.
So, if it comes during gaming, drivers might be an issue.Anyway, let him ask his friend to do that and lets see what happens...
