Hey its a high poly model...i work in production not in gaming so i dont have to worry about poly count.

the fron looks tesselated....but overall good work...

Hmm...the deal that I wrk in movies so I dnt care abt poly count doesnt hold...You would probably want to create clean mesh habits cause most of what you model has to be riggable and animatable...unless ofcourse u only make wallpapers...:bleh:

Have seen so many good looking models that can only be display objects and nothing else in a scene....

But man you know your stuff...thats for sure....:)

I really like your work with the materials...allthough the tire could use a little more bumpmapping, it looks kinda worn out.Really nice model otherwise.

@vij: For a model to be properly rigged, basically you wouldnt want to have tripatches anywhere. :P

Very nice job on the modeling, IMO Maya can be a real chore to work with (been using Cinema 4D myself) So I really appreciate the amount of work that must have gone into creating the models. :hap2:

I'm not much of a modeler, but my degree is in Character animation, and I had to learn a lot of Maya. I mostly matte paint now, and only use 3d software for camera mapping projects, and use C4d because it has excellent paint tools using BodyPaint.

Hope you don't mind me adding a piece of matte painting I did. :D

This image is of a fictitious street, and was put together using reference from about 50 photo's, the original size of the photoshop image is 5500p x 2950px, there are well over 100 layers, and I had to repaint a lot of lighting and shadows, as well as the sky, and also paint out most of the cars.

@Artfuldoger: wholy crap thats amazing..reminds me of the 15,000 layer photoshop picture.Excellent stuff :)

@Akshitmohan: Yes we do :P
