the main problem with CX400 is that how can you possibly have the heavy ipod dangling around your neck... is there a way or an alternative to solve this?
 
the sennheiser model i know of is cx400. never heard of cxl400 so it might be a fake.

even if its not im not really keen on the cx400. i have read reiews that they are not worth it and are bass heavy.

the altec lansings im getting for are $40+ shipping. That seems like a good deal considering the drivers are made by etymotic
 
^^ They are also a bit anemic in the bass dept. So do keep that in mind. Mind you they are still very good earphones and at $40, I doubt you will get anything better.
 
get the etymotic e6i for $47.99... check the hot deals section. nothing comes even close to this at this price point
 
ok there seems a problem .. i was gonna get these earphones from america. my brother is there and he was gonna send em to me through someone. now he is totally against the in-ear phones because he thinks they are not good for your ears and my mom also supports him so he is refusing to buy the in-ears for me and instead will be buying headphones.

so now i need someone to tell me which headphones i should go for. he went to bhphotovideo and checked some audio technicas for $40-50 which he said were really good. now tell me which ones should i go for. how are the grado sr60 when compared with the audio technicas?
 
i checked out reviews and sennheiser px100 and grado sr60 have got the best reviews....whats the sound difference between these 2.

and my bro also checked out some audio technicas in the shop which were for around $50 which he said were pretty good. i will put the model nos. here later

so when sr60, px100 or audio technica?
 
Get the PX100 and NOT the Grado SR-60. The PX100 has very few bad reviews. However there are many detractors from the Grados.
 
i read the px100 do not produce the highs very well. have been reading about portapros also and they also have good reviews. some even go on to say they are better than the px100.
 
Yay..I ordered Sound Magic PL30, FiiO portable amp along with a 16 GB PMP player :ohyeah: :hap2: . After reading some reviews in head-fi forum it is supposed to be better SQ than crossroad X3.
 
^^ im also planning to order that combo, is it safe to get it shipped from HK?..

wont it get stuck in customs here?

No way dude ! Its not at all better than the X3 ! As good as the X3i perhaps, but the X3 has a killer midrange. The PL30 is good, but not as good as the X3 in any parameter.
 
they say the PL-30 is the e4c's equivalent.

Since sound quality is subjective, im sure everyone will have their own opinion, but at 30$ with the headphone amp, they are a good deal .
