Gold Seat costs Rs.750 out there... I was like wtf

Out here @ Vizag tickets cost Rs.60 max.....
I don’t know how this was rated so highly by Mouthshut members. I checked out what is so great about PVR Cinemas at Forum in Bangalore (and to add more to the pain, their Gold Class) and it was
the worst experience I had so far given the money you have to chuck out. The Gold class experience started from the ticket counter. They have said that they treat you like a Star. They treat you like Sh..t. Probably they named it Gold since it has the same colour as that. The counter guy acts as if he was the President of India. The door boy submits you to a frisking as if you were a criminal. None of them offer you any guidance. You have to find your own way to the theatre entrance. Inside you have the smell of stale food mixed with some perfume. Your Gold Class experience starts here.
Other than for a seat, which you are supposed to know how to use (they don’t guide you or provide instructions), you find scantily clad foreigners sprawled all over the place in intimate poses (maybe that is the reason why some of the other people liked this experience). I wasn’t too much impressed by this ambience nor the picture quality when the film started.
Now the PVR Con begins. Unfortunately for me I ad taken their 150 Rs food coupon also (I paid 600 bucks total for getting conned).
A not so customer friendly staff member approached you in between the movie (when there is no lighting so that you can’t read the prices in the menu). Why can’t they approach you before the movie begins when there is light? Probably these voyeurs want to catch couples getting too intimate off guard. Now I find that the prices are higher than at Leela Palace. I order a sandwich and a fruit punch (in the dimlight the total price seems to be less than 150 Rs; I am willing to bet that the worn out menu handed over to me mentioned the price of the fruit punch as 50 Rs).
I get what I ordered. Frankly 50 Rs together for what was given would be too much. We used to get better food at my college hostel. After some time the staff member menacingly stands over me (flexing his muscles like a bouncer - do they pick goons specifically as staff in PVR?) and says that I owe 100 bucks more. What for? The fruit punch is Rs.150. I demand the menu. He shows me a better looking menu with 150 written as price. Again in the dimlight, I can’t make out whether this guy had put a 1 beside the 50. So I shell out a total of 700 of my hard earned cash for the ’Gold’ sh..t experience.
Go to PVR if your parents have given you so much money you want to waste it some way or the other, even if it means you yourself burn your fingers and whole self. And recommend this to all your enemies.
