Car & Bike How is the Mahindra Bolero ?

Update: sad to say but new budget doesn't cut it for either a brand new Bolero or TUV300. Only option now is to go for a used Bolero. I think that mom knows someone in Shillong who might be able arrange one in good condition.
To all the experienced guys what should one look for/at when buying a used car? At how much can one typically get a used Bolera which is in good condition? Distance covered and all.
And please feel free to keep the discussion going.[DOUBLEPOST=1451674324][/DOUBLEPOST]@rdst_1 I don't think that India will be in a position to implement similar rules even in the next few years. Its just, according to our Indian culture, too much work. :/

If you wanna make income then bolero can be good , no other competitor to it in same price. DO note if you take loan on used car interest rate is around 15-16% while for a new car it is 9.7 %. Remember bolero moves people while the TUV is made to move your family , choose what you want.
 
Yes i understand the target sections of the two cars. I think that if its bought it will mostly be used for ferrying people to long distance urban-off areas.
And loan is not a car loan. Its a personal loan.

personal loan will also have very high interest rates unless you borrowing from a friend or family
 
Its already approved. Only some formalities are pending. Or were you thinking of lending me some money at a little or no interest rate? :P

Any specific reason of going for personal loan. Car loan is always much cheaper if buying a new car. For buying a second hand car, personal loan might make more sense
 
Nope no clue. I don't know how these loans work. And the car, if bought, will be a "used" one.

you would never know.
those are pretty frugal machines, wont break down even if you want to.
so prices cannot be generalized.
but do look up on the under-body for rust etc. if there is presence of rust , it would help in reducing the asking price for the vehicle.
