How long should a smartphone battery last?

How often do people generally change the battery? I am asking since I never got one replaced for any of my phones.

I voted for the first option, though for a funny reason. I am too lazy to charge the phone.

My 5310's battery is'nt working as expected and it usually dies down within half a day. I still use that battery along with a spare (new)battery which I usually keep in my wallet and use it when the first one dies

In the end my phone works easily for 5 days without a charge. I charge it every weekend :P

PS : I know its stupid, but again i am lazy :P

i voted for the 4-7 days option cause my SE phone does not go below half charge even after 4 days. Haven't changed the battery in 4 yrs till now. Seems to have got weaker though. Goes to half charge in two days during winter.

Its not a smart phone though so comparing it with a smart phone is wrong. But i'd like a smart phone which sips battery instead of gulping it. :)

What I like with this scenario is the battery is small enough to carry along as a spare, so you never have to worry about a battery running out.

You don't care how long the battery lasts :)

I think 2 days with moderate usage should be about enough.

I prefer to keep a car charger in the car & a spare charger in my backpack........

:)
