How to disable Network Searching & Information Messages

Hello Friends,

I have basic Micromax Mobile & found following 2 issue.

When ever insert TATA DoCoMo sim in 'Second Sim' slot it keep searching for network after every 2-3 minutes & drain all battery in 30 minutes. I set network selection as "Mannual" but still the issue is there.

While if the SAME sim inserted in "First Sim" slot than NO SUCH issue :crazy:

If put any SIM other than DoCoMo in "Second Sim" slot than also NO SUCH searching & battery drain issue.

Also mobile flashing irritating "Information" like "Song 543219 Toll Free".

Can any one suggest how to over come all or any of above issues?

Goto messages and goto broadcast messages option and disable it. It could also be called as push messages.

As for the searching issue with docomo, rma the phone.

The searching issue only with Tata Docomo Sim all other Service Providers have no issue with?

Is the Tata Docomo Network in your area Weak? In My usage of Tata docomo- they do not activate any info/ flash messages. However they have a tie-up with Other networks in mumbai- Does it show roaming indicator? If you keep the phone on automatic mode- it might latch on to loop network etc.
