why corn flakes?why not oat meal?

second that,
once i started having oat, corn nowhere come close.
(Chocos rocks though, just for the taste part of it :ohyeah: )

Am having Quakers Oats with milk and chocolate Syrup (99% fat free) right now :P Tastes :ohyeah:

Heh, quaker oats, i use this for power breakfasts.

Made in the microwave, then transferred to a blender with honey & bananas.

Very quick, easy to down, so more time for sleeping and big carb load in one punch

hmm, thats an interesting idea

Whats the consistency like though?

That's up to individual taste, thicker than a smoothie but drinkable instead of spooned which defeats the purpose. Also it cant be too thin or the blender won't do much good. The only downside to this is that its good in colder climates, but calories wise, it would deliver more calories to your stomach at a fraction of the cost a 'Post' cereal. Taste well hehe, its the usual tradeoff.

I got the idea for a 2 yr old niece, who took too long to eat :D

She appreciated the honey & bananas that on a visit to her grandmother (who is a very good cook) remarked that my porridge was tastier :cool2:

alrightie, thats what friday breakfast is going to be

I'll stick to hbo for tmrw morning and grab a small trial pack of quaker oats tmrw

I think the ratio i used was 1:2 oats+milk with a 600W oven on High for 1.5 minutes YMMV.

I put this in a plastic measuring jug, into the microwave, transferred to the blender, then back and drank out of it.

Don't think anything beats chappatis+eggs, but thats more work :)

while on the subject of chapatis, see if you can find Vegies (ready to cook and not ready to eat package) Chapatis in Bangalore

30 seconds of heating on a girdle, annd you get almost as good as home-made chapatis

Still, a lot more work than jst pouring milk on a cereal...

also, downing chapatis + eggs requires a fair amount of extra effort and time over just cereal

Cornflakes = Cold Goodlife MILK 500 ML + Kellogs Frosties + Fruits or Hersheys and last but not the least (again this is upto you..lol..) a hint of coffee..FTW
