A "loser" (as insufferable, intolerant and immature jerks call other people they don't like), is someone who is just different from the one who called him that, or had a stroke of bad luck. In my experience, people who use the word loser to demean another fellow being are short-sighted, narcissistic and intolerant pieces of... the universe.

Is a silly TV show setting a precedent for our youth? That is the correct question to be asked IMO.

.......

Now coming to the word "Loser". Why would someone call anyone else a loser? Only if that someone has already reached the pinnacles of success and is looking down from his/her vantage point. How many of those truly successful wo/men have you seen, and how many of them even bother to interact with anyone, let alone call them a loser?
So, is calling someone a loser just a projection of our own inadequacy and incompetence? Maybe.

I like you.

I do not get the title of this thread, Do you wanna call people loser and want to know different ways, you can phrase it to them?

:O .......
Why does it always have to be a romantic relationship!? I'm just appreciating a fellow TEian, what's wrong with that? >_<

anyone who actually went to the auditions of that show is a loser.

I can't stand the show for more than 5 minutes. Its cheap at best....

Here goes a story which can be easily explain this:

"Once up on a time (as usual, very many decades back), an intelligent Santh (Sanyasin - or the enlighted one) was travelling his long route. En-ruote he had to cross a mighty river.
He found a boat-man and called up on him for assistance to cross the river with him small boat.

While crossing the river, Santh asked boat-man many worldly, intellingent questions for which boat-man, obviously didn't have answers. He was illeterate. Santh told boatman his life was not worth living without knowledge.

When they almost reached middle of river, boat-man asked Santh a single question: "Do you know how to swim ?"

Santh replied: 'No'.

Boatman told him, the boat accidently got some cracks, water is leaking in and Santh must swim across the river. Whaterver happened later is not worth elaboration... :)

Now, I think, we can decide who is a loser.

My sentances may lack grammar, may not be upto the mark in layout. But I think I conveyed the idea :)
