Hi guys!!! I am planning to a buy a laptop this week. I wanted to buy a Dell Studio XPS 16, but found that they dont have a Service center where Im living and have poor after sale service. So I decided to go with HP DV5-1221TX. I searched all over the net for some reviews on this model, but didnt find any thing useful...What do u guys think? Is it any good? Or is there any other models with same configuration??? Please help me out. Thanks a lot :hap2:

Hey buddy .........generally, the model numbers are country specific for laptops.......go to notebookreviews.com and look for reviews in the same category, you will most probably find it.

Another good site is laptopmag.com

I checked both the sites...cant find it :(

Heres the spec...

Yes,That's A Higher End dv5,With A Core2Duo And 9600.
The Ones Around 50K In India Sell With AMD Dual Cores(RM-70,RM-72)And An ATI Graphics Card In General.
I'd Say Go For It.It's A Decently Powered Laptop.For That Price,It's Fine.

^^ Search for HP dv5 reviews on google - there are tons of them and they'll give you an idea about the buid quality etc. Also go through user reviews for dv5 at newegg.com.

Then try to find what model number this configuration has in the US from the HP site and try to find reviews for "dv5 + 9600m gt" so you know about the temperatures and all.
