how good is this for reading PDF's ?? what are the chances of this device being ported to Android..

And it's not reliable. And more importantly, they are taking orders when they don't have stock. They do NOT have enough stock, so don't order them!

Ok, now what is the way out, have ordered with them, ordered not yet confirmed, shall I get my credit card company to place a block on this transaction?
 
I am out of this firesale , man, my eyes are burning, cant take it anymore.

Will not even look at any more sites, if I am lucky, will get soon from 20north or somewhere here in India at close to 120-145 bucks for 16 gig.

If I had given even 50 % effort of the total I have given to this deal, I would had the money to buy at full 500 bucks price. phew !!
 
I know! I'm really pissed off now. 3 days of incessant deal hunting and I'm still not confirmed. If my 2 orders don't go through, I'll just throw the towel in and get myself an iPad 2 or a Transformer. Screw the extra price I will be paying. :/

yup both sites seems like snails.... I've been waiting since 1 hour with CDW's CC to confirm my order.

Spoke to macconnection customer care, as of now the order is unconfirmed and she could not fetch any more details, says they are swamped by orders all of a sudden and does not if there are stocks, asked me to call around 6pm EST.

Someone in this thread mentioned about onSale cancelling amazon orders ??

Shucks that is bad man. I am not sure what will happen to my order. Currently it is showing as SHIPPING SOON. God knows whether it will be shipped or not :(
 
yup onsale orders are also getting cancelled.. so the most reliable purchase for us till now is also suspicious... 20 north waale chatur nikalei..
 
Update for people who ordered form HP SMB

Extrememly essential to call on 0018008889909 and confirm your order so that it can be shipped by the end of the week...

Whose ever status is "not able to process" need to confirm the order. Otherwise they will try to confirm the order by calling on the number u have mentioned and they will reject all NON US numbers. If u verify your order then it will get shipped by the end of the week...

I called them up and after a 35 mins wait, later he confirmed my order just by asking me what i had ordered and said that my products will be shipped by the end of the week... and he also mentioned that do not rely much on the site cause it overloaded and they may not be able to update it properly...

So please verify your order so you can receive ur tablets...

All unemployed F@ta$$es just hoard and sell on ebay :@...I am sure if something like 50000 pieces were available with flipkart for 6k....it wouldn't have been OOS in India :P even after a week !
 
Found this on OnSale - Amazon from SD

Everyone who tried to order more than 2 either on a single order or through multiple orders are having their orders canceled. All of the smaller orders are still in "Shipping soon" status basically until after OnSale clears off all of the larger orders out of their system and they see exactly what the remaining orders to inventory levels are.

UPDATE: Just received an order confirmation from Macconnection, though the point still would be that card would be charged on shipping, this order is going to the SNS address.

UPDATE 2: Order cancelled, they ran out of stocks! :(

Are you sure that amazon onsale orders will be cancelled? i have also placed an order there.
 
^^No idea but thats what someone on SD told. There is so much mess and confusion. If this order gets cancelled i dont have any backup orders :(
