HP Touchpad for 100$ @ US online stores

i ordered only one of them, but somehow the tracking info they gave shows the details of 8 more going to the same address.. (NY sns ). So i presume its mostly TPs of techenclave members?

Not mine mate, mine's "Out for delivery" in the bottom and says - "Thursday, 08/25/2011, By End of Day" on the top.

And my shipment is 3.8 lbs not 3.3 :( That's 8 dollars more for me. :(

Oh and my shipment has 13 shipments with it, all around the 3.7 to 3.9 lbs range. It's quite common for a group of packages sharing a single truck to be given a common tracking number.

I guess maybe Varkey's and Agantuk's package might be along with mine. :)

And my shipment came from "Maumee, OH, United States" Warehouse and reached "Uniondale, NY, United State".

Yours started from "Fresno, CA, United States", which if I understand correctly, is almost on opposite end of the country, maybe that's why it's going to take 5 days.

Still, you're getting a free gift! :D
 
Guys shooping.hp.com shows OUT OF STOCK while yesterday night it was COMING SOON. Did HP people put any TPs at night and did they get sold out ?? Grrrr.... if that was the case.

What i read in SD is that retailers have taken too many orders

Those orders will be fulfilled first

So no online selling now from HP

Dont know had a chit chat with HP rep

she said orders prior to 22 will get shipped but when not known

I had ordered on 21 lets see

When I had placed my Amazon order shipping was 31aug/1Sept

Just didnt think of it much

Now when rep told me its back ordered , it was already back ordered when i placed an order , Just didnt notice it

Dates are still same

I am ready to wait till 1 Sept

I guess now the only hope of getting one is from HP but when it will come is a dicey question. There are no proper updates and HP may bring it in stock ANYTIME, even 3 AM local time they will do it i guess.

Mine was a bank of america debit card and a charge of 105.xx $ was kept in processing on the same, now that hold is released and money is available back in my account.

My HDFC card was charged immediately when the purchase was made and now order is cancelled. Don't know when I will get the refund. :(

On a side note I mailed them to send me the touchpad instead of issuing a refund. Just being optimistic. :)
