PC Peripherals HTPC Queries

Hi,

I recentily assembled an HTPC with the following components

Motherboard: MSI K9AGM3 (AMD 690)
Processor:AMD 4800
RAM; 1GB X2 (Kingston)
HDD: Sata Seagate 250GB x2
Case:Antec Fusion Black 430

I would like advice as to a few things in this connection:

Firstly, what is the best HD/Bluray drive that i should gob for?

Secondly, what is the graphics card suitable for my system?My primary purpose is to watch hi def movies and X.264 playback.Or will thr motherboard HDMI out do the job for me?

Thirdly, I want the sound section to be processed through my Denon AVR 3805 receiver which is without an HDMI input so what should be the ideal souncard for me?

And lastly, sugest a good remote control for the system.

^^ almost same rig, I am using HDMI out on my MSI K9AGM3, it's working pretty well.

You dont need a graphic card, HD renders smoothly with 690G, even the 1080p.

Get a good sound card to hook it up with your Denon.
