too late here but I must say this deal is really great, 26.5k is almost 2408WFP's US price($600, incl. current discount).

@Naga, by "confirmed" do you mean payment received or something else?
 
Let the present LCDs be delivered, then we'll see. By confirmed, I mean that no GO if there are less than 5 orders unlike this GO with 3 orders.
 
^^Most companies do that (Employee Discounts). Regarding the bakra, Dell pricing is quite competitive compared to others. Think Sony, Bose etc.

not really anand, you are missing the point here. :)

Dell gives stuff to employees at almost cost price, so they are not making ANY profit on it :P So how is teh outside customer a bakra? U cant really expect them to sell stuff at those prices :P THen the company wont survive :rofl:

Dell 2408WFP UltraSharp 24 is sold at 590$ in us (25k) but in india they sell it for 58k ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

if its tax how does the emp get it for same 25k????????????????????????????????????
the same goes for gpu 's also xfx 8800 640 xxx cost 270$ in us but in india the xfx 8800 320 it self cost 25k -22k when i asked about this to xfx us the ans i got is they sell them to dealers and its up to them how they price it

I doubt the making people fools part. Of course they have a healthy margin in there for ppl flush with money ;) Those who wanna bargain can get it for ~ 45k i believe :)

As to taxes, we need to check n get details ;)

The one I had bought earlier is yet to reach me. F*****g first flight...Stalled my shipment frm PhOeNiX's place to Arunachal in Kolkata for a week, and no reasons except some crap about tax ppl holding up the consignment! Finally getting it tomorrow...Let's hope it's not damaged in any way. Beware of First Flight couriers!!!
