Graphic Cards If 6600GT AGP then ????? PCI ???

hi.....
was jus curious....
im very satisfied with the performance of my 6600gt with the type of games i play.....was planning to upgrade a bit and the new board might carry a PCI slot.....so which card in PCI would give me the same performance of the 6600GT.......not interested to spend too much ...as i dont game too much and the 6600gt is decent enof for all my needs.....
advise pls....... thanks....
 
oooh yes...PCI-E ofcourse :)......well no idea of the budget...really depends....dont want to overspend.......the card should be as good to the 6600GT thats it..........how much is the 7600GS anyways >?
 
Infact 7600 Gs performs better than a 6600 gt, but at this moment i would advise you to go for a 7600 Gt. You get a sparkle for 6.75k and a palit for 8k . It will just be able to cut in all the games available today
 
yep....me wld suggest the same....at the bare minimum go for the 7600 gt...any brand...doesnt matter much as long as after sales support is good

if u can hold it for say 4-5 months....hold on...let dx10 cards get into the mainstream...will cut costs of these cards too
 
Have you got a x32 SLI board?

If you do you can get 2 6600s do some serious OC'ing, and not have as many bandwidth limits as software SLI normally gives you. It's cheaper than the mid-high range cards out now.

If you haven't got an x32 SLI board, forget it and go with the 7600gt if you can't wait. deepak is right though, when the DX10 cards get cheap you'll wish you had gotten one. I know I do...

and no i wont have a sli board....a simple seda sada board :) hehe
