I would suggest to go to these sting operation channels specially those who like sensationalism(like ZEE, IT or AT) or IBN live who themselves suggest that they would like to have these corruption exposed on channel

@Switch hope you bring out their crime into light coz if you dont if they give you the money back then many would be affected coz of them. All Criminals should be punished. All the best pal.

The thing about these couriers is that they are all run as franchises. So while this guy on Switch's end may be nice (and genuinely scared possibly), someone along the line has screwed up. Now if that chap contacts the company, they will refuse to pay (cos they are a bunch of stinking fools) and either he will have to pay from his own pocket (Hah!) or tell switch to go and ... Most likely he will adopt the second approach, which means you should take the lawyers along with you (this generally scares people into compromising).
 
guys, just hv a look at the state the box arrived to me. not even all the pieces of the green cardboard foam were there. i wonder why he tore it apart. couldnt he hv just opened the box aram se and taken the proccy and put it back. why tear it to shreds? plus he was smart not to take the HSF. cuz that would leave a direct trace of evidence. the HSF makes up most of the 550 gm weight. so if uhe took that out, it would be too light.

+ the declaration form is missing and is replaced by some bullshit invoice totalling Rs 65/- wth?

from tomo my comp is conked out as i wanna keep my work to raghu and ship him my proccy. lets see where this takes me. i hope to get the opty back, else my money and switch's too.

^sunny, this is what i was fearing most, those guys cover all the bases, anyways lets hope that switch's legal and media angle can pull some strings.
 
Legally its gonna make no diff to them, but if words and pics like these are released on the media, then proffesional really had it.
 
Well... loss and damage is written there... But this a case of theft... Technically there is a difference...

Basically the parcel either has to be lost completely in case of loss or it has to be damaged... But in my case it was stolen partely ;)... I spoke to my friend and he confirmed me this difference... He said the loophole exists :)...

one of the things tht i think until a vourier guy knows whats inside he wont open it becuz if he opens it without knowing whats inside means i am willing to take whatever is inside even if its a bok!! so some courier guy who knows what is inside opened it .. might be a possibility
 
Kidoman must hav signed the courier reciept when he took the Parcel-that pretty much means that he has accepted the parcel in good condition.Thats where Proffsnl's legal liability ends,doesnt it?

Dont think so u hav any legal stand yaar; ur best bet will b d courier guy who took d parcel...
 
switch my bet would b to go with cnbc ppl.......i watch there cnbc awaz(hindi cnbc) channel.........

they specially have cases of ppl lik us....(e.g lik ppl having prob with mobile operaters,mall cheating etc)...then the company head has to reply........or they themselves help ppl with legal entities....

So i dont think they should loose hope.

Well, he must have. Coz he saw the package onces he went out, and just b4 getting onto his bike.
 
Well no delhiboy... Kidoman did sigened the thing but also got a letter from the compay that the stuff received in bad condition along with proccy missing... I called him up and told him to do that... We have a stamped copy of the thing... Also we got the pics of the package in the way it came...
 
Seems like till now all the loopholes are covered... Also thanks for reminding me of the aapkiawwaz guys... yes they sure help :)...

@x86... He makes a good point... The package was opened in Noida most probably as there are hundreds of parcels which travel and if they do it with all of them then they would have been caught by now... The guy knew what was in the package... Cause he himself packed it...

But i wud suggest that u take ur lawyer frnd when u talk to them & get the money/cpu bac. a legal battle wudn exactly b helpful.
