^^ Bluedart is.. the best of the lot in India, IMO.. we always ignore SPeed post, but it works just fine (n safe) as well..

Yeah, I think I asked this question in that courier thread.. or at least I meant to. Why does no one use speed post? Their only disadvantage is lack of tracking facilities, otherwise, it is at least as reliable as most of the couriers. Plus, in the courier thread, I think no one has mentioed first flight or aramex. I have never sent any electronics by courier, so I can't rate them in that department.

I used to rely heavily on First Flight's delivery-within-24 hours to major cities to ship.. Once i made a mistake of sending 600 bucks thru them... money never made it to my friend :(.. kinda felt stupid n bitter n havent gone to FF since then. Otherwise, they are good too..

I've received a couple of times thru Aramex, but havent shipped anything thru them.. so no comments as yet..

there would have been another thread with the same heading had my courier not reached digen in one piece. Sent him notebook ram couple of days back thru maruti couriers from mumbai - to - belgaum in 33 rs. Was lucky he recd the courier the next day. But i made sure the packing looked as crap as possible.

Dude soura the next time we trade I dont want that maruti couriers shit man.But I gotta admit your packing was lovely ! :-P

To the OP & the other guy who got screwed, best of luck mate.I hope justice prevails !

i used one expensive courier for sending my 6600GT to home dunno remember the name tho ..... they charged me 1000bucks for sending and 150bucks for packing it :(

EDIT:- just chked in my mail it was Bluedart :(

This happened in front of my eyes..
I was at the Professional couriers Patel arcade,Byculla branch to despatch a demand draft to noida. I was just filling out address on the envelope when the guy in charge gets a call from some annoyed customer who complains of a missing shirt in the courier package. This guy bluntly says tht when it was delivered, the pack was intact and tht he could hardly do anything about it. He then asks the delivery boy sitting there if he screwed up the delivery.

The delivery guy denies it.. on this, the guy incharge, instead of looking into the matter or scolding him for the negligence, simply chuckles n says tht even if he (the delivery boy) did it, he did better take it home with him and not let it lie around in the office..or else somebody would find it out..

Having been a witness to all this,I made an excuse tht i forgot a very important document and tht i'll be back in some time..i got up and walked away..never to return to Professional couriers again..

And this exactly what i'll suggest to all, dont look beyond dtdc, blue dart, pafex or the humble speed post if you have something very valuable to send.

Switch, i really hope you get your money back as the proccy, by now, may be in deep waters..and make it a point to avoid professionals at all costs from here on..

aaah now i remember a the my dealing with professionals. I went to professional couriers to send the zebby 640Watts for funky, when i gave it to them they said i'll have to open it up and show to them and pack it again, i said i took more than 30mins to pack this pack and told its difficult to remove it, then they said there might be a bomb inside it so they need to check it, i said them BS and walked out(i know the package was supposed to opened for checking purpose but really i dint have enough time to do all these things there). I then went to the Blazeflash couriers told that there is a PSU inside and they took it and said they'll deliver it and they dint ask any other Question:) and funky got the PSU on the 2nd day:clap: Now i am very happy that god made me avoid the Professionals at that time:)

@Switch Teach the professional guyz:@ some Lessons

man.this happens a lot.even many books are practically ripped apart wen they come.dude court will take time, keep belting them in their office in front of customers.let them DIE!!!

Well... All i can say as of now is that i have come to lnow that my case has become quiet weak... I will post the complete details on Monday evening after getting some confirmation :(...

switch dude..atlest contact cnbc guys(aap ki baat whtever...etc)...atlest ppl will come to know...and mor ppl will stop using there service.....

Even if they have mentioned that their liability then also if you have not signed the receipt when you gave the packet to Professional couriers then you have a strong case. All that is written in the receipt would only hold true in case you have signed it. Even if you did sign it then also atleast go to the courts.

Do tell us why your case has become weak.

sorry for making this old topic alive...was reading abt couriers feedback came back here.....

switch man wht happened finally???
guys any idea????

Nothing... Lost all money... The guy shifted his office by the time notice could reach him...
