Indian govt. bans AXN

Lol.. Indian government sucks... They are focusing on tiny issues which they have control over..

When are they gonna focus on the big stuff.
 
There are tons of south indian shows that are more "obscene" than World’s Sexiest Advertisements.How can the govt. ban AXN without banning those ?? And govt. has no right to decide what we can watch and what not to watch!!

AXN has not aired some of the real adult content liek 'World most embarassing sexual accidents' , i downloaded from internet ... ;) .

now if our infant politicians had seen tat , i cant imagine wat would have happened..prolly kick axn out permanently..? ..lol

& i have video clips of XX stuff being aired on Z Movies @ broad 10:45 , where were these infants @ tat time?..dozing off..rofl..

We need someone younger to lead this country. These 80 year old budhdhey have had their time. They've got us NOTHING. After 50+ years of independence we've failed to achieve half of what other nations ahve. Look at germany/japan. Both utterly devastated by ww2 yet they now lead the world. All our media does is publish random reports of us being a superpower when in reality most of India have a goddamn inferiority complex they try to hide by screaming about how they'll become "something" in 50 years.

*Edited*. This is what will happen when 80% of the politicians are poor, illiterate jahils who hail from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh (my state).

When are they going to stop bickering abt small things like this......If at all anyone wants to watch p$0n they can always go to the net and see much explicit stuff.....By doing this India is just showing the world how much of a DEVOLOPED country it is.....

Banning of smoking onscreen!!!

Ban on showing animals onscreen!!!

Banning of racing scenes in movies!!!(thank god it wan't approved)

WTF is the country coming to.......

Maybe someone needs to remind the Government that there is a large percentage of population that cannot even afford food leave alone a TV....

Government is not a censorship organization....

There are problems like

Poverty

Unemployment

Corruption.....

Why the hell do they want to rack their heads on stupid things like this....

I didn't have access to star movies and HBO for the last few months since some crazy lady files a pil in the court, got back HBO recently , but now AXN is gone :(
 
man i havent seen axn for months... my cablewalla stopped airing it long itme ago! :S. .and then yesterday the cable walla had msg that axn has been pulled off air for a certain period of time.. i dunno wat the govt is thinking.. or if atall its thinking..

the biggest problem is we all know there is a major problem.. but we all want to shy away from it.

and is the govt forgetting that the people of india choose them not to save our culture but to solve our problems ... no matter wat u say..but. economics > culture...

the govt should be reminded that they work for those who dont have tv's or a house to live in .. but need a job, or food or shelter to survive...

the voting system sucks.. people have no power after the voting is over. they need to have the power in their hands to control the govt .. to dictate terms to the govt for their own betterment rather then the other way round wherein the govt goes on banning things which really doesnt concern anyone..

India needs youth to lead. The old generation are extremely conservative in their mindframe. India is just not progressing until its under their control.

Its hard to believe this is the country that wrote Kamasutra (now banning great channels because they show ads featuring lingerie), but then, no Neta's existed.

altough i must agree , not all politicians are much selfcentred , for ex : our hon' Abdul Kalam . but there are some real manics in politics alright ,

in a recent news , the current CM was boasting abt this sons' affection of draggin on his porsche in bangalore roads . . . . . :lol: ;)
 
Adult stuff? What the hell? Does'nt DD have those "goli ke hamjoli" type ads that cause more embarrasment to parents? Try telling your kid what that ad means.You've got SCULPTURES depicting naked people doing the dutty dutty and you've branded them world heritage sites and when someone shows some nudity on television you go all "Communist china" on them.

Not only that we've actually got gods who can be said to be active. Who's the government shitting? They're ignoring the main issues and focusing on stupid ones like banning channels and fighting Orkut groups or pom-poming when that shilpa shetty girl gets abused on television. Improve the infrastructure you morons. What are our plans for the future? what are you going to do when the pop goes to 1.5 billion? What will you do with those flyovers you're making when the load becomes to heavy for them to bear? What will you do when you can't step outside without inhaling dangerous doses of so2 or no2. What will you do once China takes away your advantage in software?

I'm pretty sure we don't have any contingency plans. Oh but we're India, we'll be "shuperpaawaar" by making software and working for 1/4th of what a sane human being would charge.

Part of the blame goes on ourselves though. How many of us have actually tried to enter politics? Papa bolengey - " Kya beta.. bahut jhanjhat hai, maramari hai. kya politics..etc etc." and then they'll turn and crib how the UPA have'nt gotten them cheap onions or how the BJP did not get them that 3 rupees off petrol or some other retarded stuff.
