Its abt Satisfaction by taking the hardware to its limit & beyond & knowing we did the best anybody could do with these hardware !!!
Besides, in a competition, all the teams are required to ve the same hardware !!! And we didn't ve a single CPU with unlocked multipliers, didn't we a single RAM that could match the FSB of the CPU (with locked multipliers), even @ 2.6V...the drivers that could support 2 x X2s in XFire were beta which detected both the X2s but didn't use em in any 3DM06 runs & lastly didn't ve any experience be4 this !!!
Whatever we got, was achieved by complete 1st timers and we got a lot of experience with extreme cooling (that the reason for both DICE & LN2) and m sure we'll know better & achieve better, when we get the right hardware.
Getting back to competition, who knows if others could ve done better with these hardware or if we could do better with the hardware they had, unless there is a competition & this was not it !!!
But never the less, this was AWESOME FUN & a complete NEW, TERRIFIC and EXTREME experience. I enjoyed been a part of it & want keep going in the direction.
So to all who want us to break records, give us the hardware and if U cant then lets C others get the same/better results with the given hardware.
Now for the records, I was NOT in this to break anyBUDDYs record but to Enjoy n Learn (ENJOYed LEARNING) and I got my hands wet with both LN2 & DICE...well actually...

First you say it's not about competition but then you make over-confident statements like "we did the best anybody could do with these hardware" and "we didn't ve a single CPU with unlocked multipliers, didn't we a single RAM that could match the FSB of the CPU" or "who knows if others could ve done better with these hardware or if we could do better with the hardware they had, unless there is a competition & this was not it".
You guys did well but these excuses made it look like you were too focussed on breaking records, and chances are you didn't have fun even though you said "fun" many times. Some time ago goldie had an X6800 (before anyone else), but his results were not spectacular... not a single guy on TE cried about it saying "I could have done better with the same chip"
Have "fun", and remember "having fun" is about pushing your hardware as much as you can!
