Because of those blast cores ofc. The more he keeps getting those cores, the more his powers get unlocked. Pretty sad we get the tethering towards the end but yeah we put it to some good use in one mission - you will know soon!

Towards the last few missions, Cole ends up with so many powers that we sometimes forget using them all.

I use most of my powers. The ones that I rarely use are Magnum & Artillery bolt. Stopped using Artillery bolt the moment I got Bolt Stream. :D

Anyhow it was a solid title. I felt it to be a better one over the previous one. The storyline was awesome, had a lengthy campaign (clocking roughly 18 hours), the improved graphics, brilliant voice-acting across all the characters, side quests were good (but became a bit repetitive towards the end; completed around 27/60).

Over and out!

Are you serious ? The story in the game is pathetic Cole does not even have a compassion for most of the acts compared to Infamous where every other act had a real story turning plot and its effects

Ofc I am serious. Do you think otherwise?

When I meant storyline, I meant the story as a whole which includes the roles of other supporting characters and not just limited to Cole and his acts. I appreciate the fact that you found the story of the second title to be inferior over the first one.

Besides, I think I've said this before - everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yours may very well be different from mine (or may be even the same). So respect the view and move ahead.

Where do I check how many side mission have I completed in total and how many remain?
The save file displays it. Simply save the current progress, try loading a saved game, and then remain stationary on the save file for a second or two - it should display some details like the percentage of total game completion, the number of side quests completed etc.

Or got to Upgrades and go to last upgrade it will how much of side missions are required something like

Required - 40 Side Missions Completed 28/40

The save file screen only displays the amount of blast shards collected, completion percentage & powers obtained. :(

But like Dinjo said (and I completely forgot), was the power upgrades screen which lists the amount of side mission needed to be completed before they get unlocked. Silly me! :P

Oy you sure about that? I think I saw the side quests status in the save file?

Or was it somewhere else. :ashamed:

I checked it last night itself. In fact, that's the first place where I was hoping to find the status. Why don't they just have a simple journal format, which would list all the game stats at one place, like most Rockstar games have?

Cause R* have already made 10+ free roaming games, and sucker punch is just learning the art :P

Completed the game. Loved the ending. This game was much better than the first one. The boss fights, locations, powers, choices etc. were vastly superior to the first game. But I really wish Jason Cottle should have done the voice-over for Cole in the sequel as well. His voice was bad-ass in the first one. Zeke was a comic relief. Nice way to end the game. Sucker Punch can now concentrate on another franchise. It was good to see they evolved over these 2 titles. Hope to see more games in the future. :)

Glad to see another member who loved the ending and liked the title over the first one. Allwyn, did you see video of the alternate ending from Youtube?

I'll watch it tomorrow. I had saved the game towards the end of the final mission. Not sure if it would allow me to switch my Karmic power to Evil side and allow me to play the evil ending. But I feel the good ending sealed the deal properly.

If you side with Kuo, I suppose you can but neither did I bother. As such, I felt the good ending was all the more depressing. :(

Kuo's attitude shift towards the end came as a surprise. Can't believe Nix sacrificed herself, she was one crazy chick. :P
