That's your opinion Sheldon ;-)

Someone's been watching too much TBBT. :P

Actually Dinesh, the morality aspect was centered around Cole's actions and the path he chose. Nix & Kuo had their own way of dealing with things. Their end goal was the same though; to get rid of this plague. But for Nix, the hatred ran deep towards Bertrand, for what he had done. Her actions were fueled by revenge, which was understandable. While Kuo always chose the logical path.

Towards the end:

Kuo was completely scared that the RFI would wipe all the conduits out. So she sided with John's plan. It wasn't a morality switch, but she picked a side, which she felt was good for her, in a confused state of mind. She later realizes her mistake. So the morality system wasn't a joke, it was reasonable.

I agree that gameplay was better in this game because of additional powers, better visuals but i do feel the game was imbalanced since giant enemies were thrown in the side missions which i didn't liked it it was more of pushing the game for increased gameplay.

I didn't felt any sense of satisfaction while doing any good side mission in the game as compared to Infamous the game made sure every action has a consequences.

I didn't attempt a single side mission in inFAMOUS, so I wouldn't have much to contribute towards it's side mission aspect. But I absolutely agree with you on the giant bosses being thrown in side missions part for this game. It ticked me off at times, but I was too powerful by the end to even care about it. BTW I had completed all the side missions and unlocked all my Good karma power upgrades. :D

Just got to the flooded town. I'm playing it the Evil Way and its so much fun. Loving every moment of it. :D

Progress : 45%

Shards: 160/305

Territories captured: 1/2

collected all blast shards. :D

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Done with inFamous 2. The evil campaign is fun, but the story gets a little lame at the end. Apart from that it was a blast. :D

Now off to the Good campaign.

Couldn't fully capture the flood district during my evil playthrough because the reqd. side missions didn;t show up. :@ Anyone else faced this issue?

Dedicated DLC a la Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption turns up at Gamescom 2011 - Festival of Blood:

Set in a non canon storyline, protagonist Cole McGrath is bitten by a vampire whilst in New Marais and has 24 hours to find out who the vampire that sired him was. Showing a clear adult emphasis, the first trailer showed Cole as a vampire biting his victims as blood sprayed from the wound.

I am not sure what Ars editors have been up to these days. They jumped the gun and gave RAGE a bad review citing performance issues, BF 3's campaign a bad review and the next candidate (albeit a slightly better review) is inFAMOUS' DLC! :/

The gameplay is essentially the same as in the full game. Cole still has his old electric powers and the ability to scramble up buildings, but he's also got a few new vampire-inspired skills. Chief among them is the ability to suck blood from people to regain health. He also has a special vampire vision ripped straight out of Batman: Arkham Asylum that lets him see special symbols on walls or vampires masquerading as humans, and he can quickly fly about town as a swarm of bats, though this controls somewhat awkwardly.

The biggest change in this short adventure, though, is with its morality. There really isn't any. Whereas the main games put a strong focus on whether or not you perform morally good or bad actions, changing Cole's appearance and abilities depending on your choices, in Festival of Blood there are no real consequences. You can suck as much blood from as many innocent citizens as you like without having to worry about it. It's refreshing, in a way, as you are free to simply do whatever you like.

Infamous is already kind of silly to begin with, and Festival of Blood just takes it a step further. Not only are you a guy who can use electricity to toss grenades, ride on train tracks, and float through the sky, but now you can suck blood and turn into a swarm of bats while you fight giant walking bat monsters and teleporting vampires armed with machine guns. It's also, refreshingly, an open world game that you don't need to spend dozens of hours on. You can still run around and climb buildings and collect things, there's just not as much need. It's short but satisfying, and a fun way to revisit the world of Infamous.

When an electric superhero goes vampire: Infamous: Festival of Blood for PS3

Completely the game is ****ingly boring can't stand it anymore.played for 1.5 hours

Me also waiting on Heavy Rain (and ofcourse BF3 MP) and will play this instead. It's only 2 hours long, so one or two sittings for me max.

Me also completed it. Pretty sweet for a DLC, was quite short though, i got a lot of the trophies and i beat the game under 2 hours i think. Didn't rush it as i love inFamous.

8/10
