I was curious to try the Evil Karma (man that sounds cool) this time, but I'm too much of a do-gooder, so chose the righteous path this time. You can choose the Evil path, as in this game, you have an evil compatriot; Nix. She is fascinated with Cole for some reason and always prefers the dark side/deeds. So often, you'll have a choice to choose between good and bad. It's your call. I feel raising the Evil meter would be very easy. You don't have to try so hard to be evil. :P

Seals the deal for me. :devil2:

I shall be starting the game today.
Total i've played this game for only 1.5 hours till now, my backlog is ever increasing.

And i'm stuck in office, on such a rainy day, and when i get home (8-9pm) i have to practice Bad Company 2 MP for the vixture tourney (for my clan, flux') for Sunday.

I completed 56 out of 60 side missions , i ended up with good karma but ending boss fight was way too easy and i was actually quite disappointed.

Some bad elements of the game

  • Side missions were not balanced wherein boss characters were poured in side missions
  • Pathetic game pacing seriously !!
  • Moral choices are joke just wait till the last mission
  • Poor story compared to Infamous

Good Things

  • Wonderful Visuals
  • Same old wonderful combat
  • Great sense of speed when Cole gets all his powers

So Gannu bhai did you run the game? :P
Played the title for a few hours after I was done with Condemned 2 yesterday. :)

The first thing that struck me was the graphics - miles ahead of the first title and seems like Sucker Punch has finally managed to utilise the console's prowess this time around. Even the cutscenes (not the comic ones) have been improved with the usage of mo-cap tech. Cole and Zeke seemed to have changed from the first title. Completed around 7 missions, collected some blast shards and improved his powers as well.

Unfortunately I continued the inFAMOUS 1 career, unlocked 1000XP and began the good karma path. So I chose to go with the good karma this time as well. I just cannot stand harming the civilians. :ashamed:

The weekend is SET! :ohyeah:

There are lots of jab taken at various other games too. You'll see theaters showing movies like "Uncharted Love" "Assassin's Need (Love Too)" "Hey, Low Reach" "No Need for Speed" "Epic Hickey" "Little Big Unit" "Latch it and Skank!"

Dinjo, what exactly does visiting the Medic center do? I mean, we perform all those side missions and they say that they would heal us anytime. But I have never found any use for it.

It opens a new Medic Centre i.e a new checkpoint in the map

@Aman

Do i have to say that ;-)

Had a nice weekend. The progress in the save file shows around 40%. Completed the mission in the flood town wherein Cole is asked to sneak into the rail yard, do some recon, click some snaps and defeat the Devourer.

The mission reveals Bertrand is converting the humans into the corrupted.

Completed around 24 side missions and I am gradually losing interest in them. Some of them seems to be repetitive. But now I am forced to complete them to unlock the additional powers. I am not sure if it is worthwhile though. I'd be attempting them in any case. Loving this game over the first title. :D

Clicked some snaps of those easter eggs. Please make do with the snaps clicked with my iPhone. :P

Ofc we do have the real ones as well. Here's one I caught a glimpse of during the Behemoth encounter. Quickly clicked a snap.

Reached the 'The Dunbar Beam' mission. Mission completion is now at 40%.

I chose to fuse my powers with Kuo and got the Frost Sheild, Ice grenade, Ionic Freeze & Shatter Blast

Few more missions to go I guess. This is turning out to be a very long game.

Very very long in fact. I am not sure how the percentage of game completion is calculated. Storyline-wise I am sure I am 75% through judging by the events that happened by far. Maybe they are taking into account the side missions, collecting the dead drops and improving Cole's powers, blast shards and maybe the other karma path as well.

Heck, even the blast shards - I am on the verge of maxing out the number of battery cores. Even got the trophy for collecting half of them - Shardcore. But the cores just keeps increasing forever. I was asked to collect 40 of those shards and I thought it might possibly be the end. But turns out, it doesn't end there. Another 40 of them to be collected.

The ice soldiers are proving to be a pain over Militia and the Corrupted. These guys take at least 2 proper headshots before going down.

The beast has come to New Marais and with the help of Zeke, launched a nuke but that thing came back!

After Kuo's escape, me thinks she has become seksy with that different outfit. :P

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Completed it. What a depressing ending! :( Saw the evil karma ending as well. That is even more miserable!

Anyhow it was a solid title. I felt it to be a better one over the previous one. The storyline was awesome, had a lengthy campaign (clocking roughly 18 hours), the improved graphics, brilliant voice-acting across all the characters, side quests were good (but became a bit repetitive towards the end; completed around 27/60).

Over and out!

Love the 'ice launch' ability. This should have been a default power for Cole. It makes the traversing MUCH more easier. Should be done by tonight or tomorrow tops. :)
