its worth working at a place like Infosys, people do succeed in large companies too, despite the armies of retards working as peers, subordinates and even superiors

I totally agree!
@OP
I will be honest with you:
1. You are a fresher, have a good idea in mind which u believe can be sold. However please understand this, no matter how good idea u have, if you don't have proper execution, it wont be sold. And execution comes through understanding about how its done in real world. In current world, products are not sold based on what they are, but the associated support with it.
2. It seems by your statement that you would be the only one who will support it. Do you think any customer is going to agree to that? There always has to be a fall back. A peer followed by supervisor followed by manager and so on. So in your case anyway you need to find someone who will be able to give the support. In that case there is no option for you. You have to find someone additional.
3. Can your idea sustain for minimal 3 years? Can u guarantee a protection that some big fish would not come down the line and steal the idea and business from you? Do u have the patent? If no then its not even your own, no matter how hard you shout.
4. In big companies (read services like infy and others) and small companies (read product based) you are exposed to standard/practices which no matter what will not be exposed to you in any indian office, school being the last of last bastion for that matter of fact. So if you start your startup, you are going to need someone who is going to give you guidance, if you would like to nurture your career you need that. I am honestly not trying to discourage you here, but the matter of fact is, I know couple of them who couldn't do much for more than 2 years and then settled down as computer dealers. They never made the courage to admit the lost gamble and get back to doing a job... not acceptable for them, as that would be looked down by the society in which they live. So bottom line, you are going to miss that experience.
5. I am sure you have the capabilities and talent to go identify genuine ideas. Best would be hon your skills further, nurture them in the organization. A kid like you I am sure would do better past training. Then you will be more aware and better capable of handling business.
Bottomline: What you are thinking of is business (Ask any business man out there, no one would advice you of the business without thinking of all negatives, cause negative taken care is the profit gained) and think of it terms in business. Once that thought is done add your pleasure in it. Cause pleasure alone doesn't get you any dough.
Last not not very least, all organization aid in building you a network that goes long way in terms of your future career. School's or similar organization, am not aware or you can say fail to understand is going to aid in that.
