Well, I see the reason why higher authority has not replied yet. May be we are having something new on TE named "Instant Geeks". As a name for other initiative, it is not bad. But as a re-branding of a very very popular board is LAME. If something new is coming up, awesome!

InstantGeek comes on two skins - Optimal, and Terra Nova. The other two still have Tech Enclave on them.

Instant Geek sounds childish for a site like TE. (although the hot thing here is always the GT threads )

Nailed it. Kinda.
First those icons/avatars showing up next to thread names.. and now Inztant Geek..? (along with Gray matters here.. Like Just the touch we needed.)
My forum ignorant friends will have a field day.. again.
