CPU/Mobo Intel DG33FB mobo replacement.

Hi guyz.
All pci slot boards on my mobo are not working. I need to get it fixed from intel. As we all know the noone in NP will get it replaced for me like other brands.

Can someone guide me as HOW TO GET THE REPLACEMENT FROM INTEL ASAP.

they have a office in delhi. I thot we were suppose to send it o banglore or sumthin.

So i call them up or they take my mobo . How does it goes ? any idea.??

Yes I do recently, and believe me It can not be simpler than this. I called their support number (080)28542105, they generated a ticket for me and asked me to some trouble shooting, suggested me some stuff.

I did that and respond back with the ticket no that it does not help, than they generate a warranty replacement request and asked me drop it at a place near infantry road, bangalore.(Redington India office)

I dropped it there, (there was a option for dtdc pickup by redington but I dropped it personally), he gave me an acknowledgment receipt. It was saturday when I dropped my MB and Tuesday, 4:00 PM, I got my replacement. :hap2: WOW. simple right?

Now based on the mail I receive from Intel I can tell you redington got offices in major cities(all metros and a grade cities), if you are not in those specific cities Intel will arrange a pickup, otherwise redington will (no gurranty about this though, just from my recent experience).

NOW, i went to NP today to pick up my frnds Intel mobo after replacement from a dealer. The guy gets mobo replaced in like 300rs and takes around 20 days. All i have to do it give him the mobo and come back after 20 days with 300 rs. It is sealed in a brown cardboard with brown tape over it !!!I think its replaced from intel.

Now the thing is ,, i have that board. Till mine gets fixed !! I was wondering shld i call on dat number for intel or shld i giv the board to this dude??

give it to intel directly, no need to pay any fees for RMA:)

Now 1 last problem , which i just came to know. Long tym back i was cleaning my cpu pins on mobo. 3-4 got bend. I got them working. They will look bend if u look at it carefully. The deler told me today that intel won`t even touch the board as it looks physically damage. And he was claming 300 rs more.

Now the problem is with PCI and the cpu socket is workinga ll rite.

Will intel not accept the board if i giveit them directly??

If the board is found to be physically defective, then Intel wont entertain warranty even though it works fine...

Redington office in your near area will address all problems related to Intel, if you are not satisfied with the replaced model you can opt for another via intel live chat too! Dont worry intels RMA programs are good in many aspects than other makes !
