Laptops Intel NUC clicks while booting, doesn't boot

that nuc will obviously throttle if gamed on in current country wide temps.
there is an option to set full speed on the nuc fan have you tested out?
Temps are at 60 Degree Celsius even while watching 3x 4K videos simultaneously in Youtube. Temps shoot up while playing this particular game and other activities in the background. I have set the fan to fixed mode at 100% all the time. Temps are better now. Do I need to worry if I hit above 90 Degree Celsius for most of the time on the cpu?

Bumping this thread for I have a similar issue with an old NUC8i3BEH bought from this forum.

Problem : Does not start (or intermittently starts) but power is present as one of the internal board LEDs is lit

Things tried :
1. Replaced the BIOS battery
2. Opened up and cleaned everything. Checked and re-seated RAMS, NVME, and HDD. All of them are working fine.
3. Tried BIOS recovery/update

Workaround: If I keep the power switch switched on and then plug in the power, it boots fine. But now once I shut down from Windows, it does not shut down properly. The CPU fan remains running and the blue power LED stays lit. I have to do a hard shutdown by switching off the power.

Did anyone face anything similar ? Is it the power adapter or something else ? I have no way to test the adapter though.

Check SSD Smart data for any issues.
If you have two ram sticks, try one each.
Try memtest for ram.
If those fail, try to upgrade the bios firmware.
If all above fail reinstall windows and see.

Tried all of those actually.. this is a fresh Windows 10 install after I was able to start using the workaround as mentioned above.

Does it go into sleep!/hibernate properly or does the same thing happen there? An unlikely source could be the fast startup setting in windows so try keeping it off

Fast startup is off. Same issue. Seems to be something with the power button or power delivery circuit. Anyways, will manage with the workaround.

I don't have an alternative power brick at the moment but will try to obtain one. What is the warranty on these ? I bought this from here itself.
