Performance of Skylake Architecture at just fraction of power consumption. Alder Lake is going to be a big deal!
y are they comparing it to SKYLAKE, when they are supposed to compare it with ROCKET LAKE, which is it's immediate predecessor, they did not say anything about what is the NANOMETER Technology, did not say anything about the iGPU??????Performance of Skylake Architecture at just fraction of power consumption. These are the efficiency cores. The performance cores are 19% faster than rocketlake.y are they comparing it to SKYLAKE, when they are supposed to compare it with ROCKET LAKE, which is it's immediate predecessor, they did not say anything about what is the NANOMETER Technology, did not say anything about the iGPU??????
Oh ok!! Such a Detail! is GoodThese are the efficiency cores. The performance cores are 19% faster than rocketlake.
performance core = single core right? These are the efficiency cores. The performance cores are 19% faster than rocketlake.
8 cores/16 thread are performanceperformance core = single core right?
they should compare it with Ryzen or M1 Airy are they comparing it to SKYLAKE, when they are supposed to compare it with ROCKET LAKE, which is it's immediate predecessor, they did not say anything about what is the NANOMETER Technology, did not say anything about the iGPU??????
Better marketing strategy. Compare the new products to bad counterparts to show better numbers. Gullible consumers would happily take higher numbers as a sign of big improvements.they should compare it with Ryzen or M1 Air
Do most people even buy processors after researching them? Most of the people who want a pc go for laptops which I guess are "you get what you get". A processor isn't very good for its price, well too bad as that is all you will get in the market. People see oh new generation, that must be good. Many people still ask if a laptop has a graphic card only and not which graphic card and buy based on that. Even going via the assembly route, people just go by seller's recommendations. Marketing relies on people's biases. If we want good Intel processors, we better hope AMD comes up with better processors and vice versa.Better marketing strategy. I am 100% sure Intel have no intention to give up on margins. Honestly they don't need to. They just need to be 1% faster than AMD to sell it at a premium.

The below news shared by @Titokhan debunks precisely that (the below article is one day newer as well):Intel Reportedly Cutting Server CPU Prices to Combat AMD - ExtremeTech

They should also leaked, what kind of CLOCK Speed for PERFORMANCE CORE, Effiiciency core. IMHO, it's 10nm Rocketlake, + 4 Mobile cores occupying one 10nm core in the name GOLDEN COVE+GRACEMONT
