Hello TE members!
I'm exploring the feasibility of introducing an IPTV service for the members here. I would value input from the community on fair pricing and expectations.
Below are the proposed specs:
  • 1,000+ popular live channels (Indian regional, sports, news, entertainment + international)
  • 1080p resolution (source-dependent)
  • Full electronic program guide
  • Number of devices per playlist is scalable (higher the number of devices used, higher the price of the plan)
  • Catch-Up TV for supported channels
  • Minimal buffering
  • Plan duration of 28 days
What monthly price would you consider fair for this service? Looking forward to your feedback!

It's a great idea but my input would be to also consider services like samsung tv plus, and lg has a similar service, they provide tv channels for free.. ig your service needs to have channels different from those in order to justify being paid.. As for price I'd say ₹200- 250 pm
Also why is the duration 28 days instead of 30?

Would it be feasible for you to offer a subscription plan where users can select specific channels? For example.
I’d like to subscribe to just 10-15 channels at a minimal cost or pay per channel?

Pay per channel is not feasible for me.
I can only customise the IPTV playlist to have TV channels of a specific language/category (sports/entertainment/movies/etc) for convenience
