After a long time i finally got an hour to make enqueries for buying an inverter.
i was thinking of buying a 800VA su-kam inverter and got these quotes from two shops.
Shop1:
Su-kam 800VA inverter - 7350/-
180Amp generic battery = 9000/-
total: with discount (inc wiring) 16000/-
+2000 if going for exide battery.
UTL inverter 800va - 6500/-
rest same. total: with discount (inc wiring) 15000/-
+2000 if going for exide battery.
Shop 2:
Su-Kam 600Va - 5900/-
Tata green battery 135Amp - 10000/-
total: with discount (inc wiring) = 14810.
su-kam 600va - 5900/-
exide 150amp battery - 11500/-
total: with discount (inc wiring) - 15615/-
in all cases the batteries have 18months guarantee (will be replaced if anything goes wrong)
also first shop keeper answered all my questions, whereas second one said that he was there only to sell stuff and didn't know any technical details.
me thinks i should go for the 800va one with generic battery. what do u guys say?
