iPad 9 is the basic line up, has the older A12 or A13 bionic processor.

The 4 you mentioned - that would be the Air series. They are light weight and cost more than the basic line up models.

The Pro devices have 11" and 12.9" variants, and they cost way more. The newer, the more expensive.

This model that has been listed here is the mini series, smaller size, but premium processors. Iirc this has the A15 processor - that runs on 13 Pro series and the 14 and 14 Plus iPhone. Absolutely phenomenal performance.


What you need depends on what you need to do with it.
Need power and have money? Go Pro.
Need portability, on the move, for media and writing, mails etc? Go Mini.
Just need an IPad for the sake of it? Get the basic one.
Need light weight and want to spend extra for it? Go Air.

Before it gets locked, I own iPad Mini 6 and absolutely love the portability. I don't see the jelly scroll issue and the format factor is really good for me. I previously used the regular iPad and it was too big for me.
