Doesn't matter I suppose. The warranty of whatever iPad 1s in existence should be over by now. :P

When i called them i was asked for which Gen, asked only for 2.it would apply for both i guess. or call them @ 080 41409000 and clear the air.
 
another query-

Will I be able to access the 3g plans offered by indian operators (Airtel/Vodafone/Bsnl) on an iPad2 3G bought in the US??
 
I am looking to get one too from the US in the next 3 months, and would like to add a query to the thread

Is it possible to jailbreak the IPad2?? If not any possible release of a method anytime soon?

whoever provides you with micro sim,

you get 3g connectivity.

bsnl and airtel does provide micro sim.

i would prefer getting mi fi like devices so you can get simple wifi.

those mifi does have better data plans.
