iphone 4s official in india

Offtopic: Had a funny incident couple of days back with my colleague who has iphone 4s. We were supposed to go Starbucks and this guy was desperately trying to get siri understand that for finding the address. But for some reason it just refused to understand.

I was better off with my offline GPS and POI search :)

A factory unlocked 16GB one costs $649 in USA. At the old conversion rate, it would convert to around 29k if purchased from US. Now it will cost ~33k. Decent price for US people for the unlocked one. And btw if you think 45k for 16GB is too much, the 64GB costs 58k :P!

you forgot to include the sales tax , USA price is 649 + ST
 
^^^ At todays dollar rate, its nearly 37k in US itself... + no warranty on a product costing 37k. Also, Airtel cust care says Siri wont support Indian English as of now. They also dont have any info if Apple wud give Indian English support in future.
 
Apple doesn't ship to adress forwarding offices i think so, if rahul recieves then I would also give it a try. as its definitely less than airtel
