Iphone from US..?

Guys, my relatives are going to USA..
so if i tell them to bring an iphone 3GS from there..
will it work in India?

I dont think getting an Iphone 4 will be a good idea as it will take a long time for its cracks to come up in india..

not a good idea if i was you, go for Iphone 4 instead, launching in india, not too soon i guess, just a speculation.

guyz how much will a iphone 4 cost including all the other fees such as contract termination and all ?

my friend is going to USA on 23 and will come back on 10th july

so availability will not be a problem,just wanted to know the total cost
