(Anything that isn't a TN panel should work?)

acer 21.5 inch Full HD LED Backlit IPS Panel Monitor (V226HQL) (Response Time: 5 ms, 60 Hz Refresh Rate)

HD+ panels that don't have crazy bright backlight is what I'm really looking for here. 1080p optional, can work with either HDMI or DP, physical size of screen could be anything. Not picky about refresh rate, either. Affordable options preferred.

I have benq ew2480 bought it in may 2021 for 12.5k. 24inch.
Pros-
1. Quite a good display for entertainment/movies/video games
2. HDR is decent
3. 75hz
4. Freesync ( have amd card )
5. Thin bezels
6. Quite good speakers

Cons ( nitpicking here nothing serious )
1. Very less Backlit bleed.

I am very happy with the purchase.

Riding this thread my query. I am in the same boat and looking for a budget 24 inch monitor. I've shortlisted these to go with my existing BenQ XL2411T (TN, 144hz 1080p). I intend to use this as the primary monitor for work and secondary monitor during gaming. Would like height adjust stand, HDMI & Display Ports and 6A Plug but won't be so picky if the panel is good.
  1. BenQ GW2480
  2. BenQ EW2480
  3. BenQ XL2411K
  4. BenQ XL2411P
  5. LG 24MP59G
Would appreciate any inputs.

How would less backlit bleed be a con ? Isn't it what people would want ?

And completely agree with all the pros you mentioned above EW2480. Recently purchased the monitor and it has been fantastic.
