i loved 'anthems of rebellion' ....the vocals pack a punch...i wanna get my hands on their DVD (the apocalype thingy), but the *original* version is a bit too big to download :P

and yea unconfirmed reports that sepultura might visit india in april :) i dont listen to em though :P

EDIT : official confirmation, sepultura is coming on the first and second of april, performing in mumbai and bangalore respectively :D

There are way too many bands with female singers that are ultra cool and I absolutely love... AE as has already been discussed, then there's Nightwish, Within Temptation, Therion, After Forever, The Gathering, Tristania, Theater of Tragedy and a few others that are frickin awesome. Dissing a band cos of a female singer is simply lame :P. Too bad I'm gonna miss this one :(. But I'm gonna be there to headbang to Sep for sure :D.

About Sepultura, I'll pass... they're not the same without Max Cavalera, he brought a lot to the table. Beneath the remains was their masterpiece.

Hehe I'm not a fan of Miss K era Stratovarius. But their older albums... Visions, Episode, Fright Night, Destiny, Elements and Infinite frickin own :D. Timmo Tolkki is one of the best guitarists ever :D.

About Sep, wasn't upto speed on this one :s. Max Cavalera left Sep? When? He was the heart and soul of Sepultura :|
 
Stratovarius has written some great albums, in fact every album is good. Their mix of melody and heavy is far from reproducible :)

And Max left ages ago... even before I quit my band, which is about 6 years ago :P Dennis Green replaced him on vocals but I'm not sure if he's still with the band.
 
oooo lots of metal discussions here :P My metal is limited to whatever Rio recommends :lol: Strato,Blind guardian,Hammerfall,Arch enemy, Gardenian etc...

Strato is simply awesome :ohyeah:

Nah, not yet... only 320kbps versions of their entire discography - just like Nightwish :P

@nuke, yeah she's no longer with Nightwish - no clue if she left or they asked her to, but all these years Nightwish *was* Tarja so let's see what they come up with next.

well,,, de meeting up part can be done ealier in de eve too.... but wat i wanna kno is whether they have started givin out tickets yet or not.
