Graphic Cards Is my AGP Dead?

Here are some screenshots of my 9600pro its acting funny.Is it dead?



the first is the nero digital screensaver and the second (zoom for more detailed view) is the desktop.Text mode seems to be ok.

Take it out, clean it, plug it back in and then check.

^ looks like the case of a video ram corruption. The time has come to replace your Vid card.

last I heard he was asking for 6.5K for it..... more or less 6600GT performance (better I think) for lesser....

Over heating core or bad mem. probably .. try it on a diff. pc to check if the problem persists , if it does then u need a new card ..

did all that...i was running it with a 120mm Fan directly blowing over it

You can try setting the AGP speed to 4X, if your BIOS allows, also disable fast writes if enabled.
You can also try underclocking your card, by using some vgaBIOS editor(just be careful using it)

ok,Have tried underclocking the card from 200/400 to 175/375.will try other things in the morning
