Is remote-control-world a genuine website?

I’m searching a replacement for the remote control of my 10-year old JBL BD300, which unfortunately died a few days ago. I checked if it could be repaired locally, but unfortunately, it’s not possible.

While searching online, I came across a website that claims to have a compatible/duplicate remote control. However, I’m not sure if it’s a genuine website.

If anyone has any information or can provide a link to a remote control, please let me know.

I couldn’t find any online reviews either. I’m waiting for someone to confirm this.

On a side note, I found a listing on Alibaba. The minimum buying quantity is listed as 1000. If anyone is familiar with Alibaba, please verify if this is a genuine listing/seller. Will they ship a single unit for me?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I’ve reached out to JBL support, but they informed me that the product has reached the end of its life cycle and they’re unable to provide a replacement remote for this specific model.

You can make your own remote, you just need to find the corresponding IR codes for each key, or the most used keys.

The site seems to be genuine, they also have a walk-in store.
