That's pretty good OC :hap2: ! I'm happy for you and quite relieved that TCC5 is working out quite well. Getting to see a few other similar stories around the net about the new OCZ TCC5 Rev F. So, yep, it's all prolly a matter of binning and how each company goes about it !

yep.. am happy too.. and tnx for all the help man.. if not for ur suggestion i had totally ignored the REv 2 in my first short-list :D

Au contraire, if it hadn't been for you I wouldn't have been enthused to pick up a TCCX RAM myself. Thanks Mate and LOL ! you're a meticulous hardware researcher :P .

OK ! check the second pic on the page from the review below from AT - the one which shows the non-sticker side of the stick ! Above the gold connectors but hugging exactly the edge of the heatspreaders see if you can spot 8 tiny "components" (iow, shiny traces peeking at you) along the length of the stick !

Will try to post some screenies from the PDP !

Edit: attached pic with blue circular markers !

LOL those are not tracks or dots. Those are small SMC resistors.
And yes that one of the way to identify brainpower. But its obvious. The PCB looks totally different.
Here is my hynix Ram which i got today for my friend, first trying it in my system :P.
It looks different. And loog for serial no on the side of the PCB.

cool.. tnx.. btw, that B6U808 indeed means Brain power PCB right? ;)

and what about these D43 sticks? these are Brainpower PCB ones too?

@funky !
Rest easy ! I'll know for sure how it will look like first-hand when I get my hands on my PDP - which should be in the next couple of hours or sooner :P.

Gee Thanks ! HoHo ! Looks like it's gonna be a late night ! And it's gonna be fun if I needed to pump in ~3.2V to get to ~270MHz as with the guy who Bottle mentioned :ohyeah: .
