The nForce4 chipset known to be a big source of heat, removing that heat with a small heatsink and 40mm fan usually results in a noisy solution, as that small fan has to spin 5000+rpm to keep the chipset from overheating. So using heat pipe technology can surely pay of in that area, however there’s a catch when you do decide to swap out that stock cooling solution and install a fancier one: size matters.

The idea is a very good one but not 100% accruate... How do they fit on a DFI based mobo... Looks interesting non the less... Also i am amazed they didnt try it in a cabby... Would like to see how will it work on a DFI + SLB with one 120MM fan attached to the HDD cage...

Good find there rahul... Repped ;)...

Jing Ting are OEM's for ThermalTake. So far the Jing Ting stuff is available only in Taiwan, perhaps Thermaltake will release this in the states too.

It should fit on any nForce4 board. Its design is intended to circumvent the graphics cards, but you may have to be a bit innovative with placing it. What is not mentioned in the review is that you dont have to place it exactly straight, you can place it diagonally as well. Found another review that explains what I mean:

Awesome name!! JING TING!!! when I first saw the title, I thought it was some joke.

Imagine boasting... "I have a JING TING cooler" :P

The caption would probably be "I JING TING. Do you??"

Jing Ting Forcetake Heatpipe chipset cooler Rev 2

The New Jing Ting Forcetake Heatpipe chipset cooler Rev 2 has one heatpipe and 29 pcs high performance plated copper fins which are used for better heat dissipation. The beautiful 40mm blue LED fan at the back makes sure the heat is transferred by blowing in between the 30 plates. This offset heatpipe for chipsets is the perfect solution for noisy stock coolers and where space confines require a cooler that will sit in an angled position away from other hardware and cooling gear in your system. This cooler is one of the most ingenious cooling marvels of the year! Highly recommended!!

Features:

* Pure Copper base material.
* High technology tube copper base that provides best heat transfer..
* Much better heat dissipation is delivered by larger heat fin surface of 29pcs high performance plated copper fins.
* High technology design of patented anti-oxidated copper fin.
* Universal patent designed adjustable heatpipe, broad array of application.
* Universal clip design for all motherboards.
* 40mm Blue LED fan included for promoting heat dissipation.
* Easy installation

Cost:- 34.95$

Guys this is one of the best Nf4 Chipset cooling solutions i have seen.

One of my friends at VR | farsky pointed out this amazing NF4 Chipset cooler to me.

Looks really gr8 to me , so how many are planning to get this ;)

Someone please help me getting this cooler please.

Nothin' very new, saw this at Sidewinder in March.

Was interested for my DFI, but then how many people actually pay $35 for a chipset cooler :P

Conclusion
The main changes are that the JTS-0006 is now made out of copper and the silent blue led gives it that little something extra. But the most important changes must be the more effiecient way of getting the heat out of the chipset. It seems that the JTS-0005 can handle more heat and is way more efficient than the JTS-0005. Allthough the JTS-0006 wins by just e few degrees it's able to keep the temperature at a lower level in the lng run.

I have made a small video which displays the temps of the cpu, motherboard as well as the chipset during a stress test. Allthough it's hard to see, the temps of both the cpu and board go way up but the chipset keeps cool.

If you are looking for a alternative silent chipset cooler which can handle in a very effiecient way, then i would recommend that you checkout the ForceTake JTS-0006.
Pros:
- 4cm silent 21 dBA blue led fan.
- Nice copper design
- Tube copper base provides good heat transfer.
- Easy to install on all motherboards.
- Very good performance overall.

Cons:
- none

replace the stock fan with a better one and this will perform much better.

Saws this cooler a while ago. But its of no use, considering all of the current GPU card are big enough for its use. We need is a WC.
