Scene 1 : intel i3 9100f + gigabyte h110 + 8gb ram x1 + gt710 + 500gb Sata ssd
Sold to @Dhanush , through the reseller section of the marketplace, this thread.
Buyer received the package, informed that the package did not have the SSD and the GPU, asking maybe I've forgotten to put it into the box. He did share unboxing video as well. To my surprise, the box was in a terribly crushed state (which won't be possible as the inner part was fully packed with bubble wraps and brown paper). Also, once he opened the package, there was zero filling material (as seen on the video). Maybe I forgot to pack items into it, so I asked him to weigh the overall contents of the parcel, and it was around 800grams, while sending, it was 1200+grams.
Upon seeing the unboxing video several times, I noticed there was a big cut on the box from one side, which was partially visible on the video. I video called the buyer on whatsapp, and had it cleared, yes the box had a big cut, also the outer packaging plastic, similar state, but outer thing was taped up.
In the box, the mobo was packed with the cpu and stock cooler, in single span of bubble wraps, gpu + ram + io shield in another span, and ssd had its box, so i just kept it on the top (cherry on the cake). The thief has put in sufficient time to hurdle through all those bubble wraps and pull out only the SSD+ GPU, smart enough to leave the I/O shield behind.
This scene was informed to me on 4th June, the day the package got delivered.
I complained about the situation on icarry, they asked for packaging and unboxing videos, unboxing video was avl, but packaging video not avl. I tried to convince them by sharing package images which I took before dispatching (length, breadth, height, weight) and the images the buyer shared upon receiving the package. Now waiting for a reply.
Package value was mentioned Rs. 4500, and non insured shipment.
Scene 2 : Ryzen 3 2200g + A320m + 4gb ram x2
Sold to a business dealer from my whatsapp community, his billing pc died recently, so he needed a decent low cost cpu. Which I dispatched the same day he informed about his requirement, and the package got picked up next day.
It got delivered today, and he informed that the RAM sticks are missing. Mentioning maybe I've forgotten to pack it up. He did share the unboxing video as well.
This time, as soon as I played the video, with the first glance of the package, I was sure its some in-transit tampering that's going on. Cuz this time, the package tape, the plastic wraps, everything was messed up, label was partially flying on the box.
Saw the full video, found no bubble wraps inside, I remember to wrap his mobo with plastic wrap, then the ANTI STATIC PLASTIC POUCH, then bubble wraps. But in the video, it was just mobo in the anti static pouch. No fillers, no wraps, no RAM.
Asked him that why did he even accept the package despite it was in such a terrible condition, he replied saying he assumed that I might have packed it that way.
The inner part was packed really hard, so would take atleast 5minutes to have the mobo out of that stretchable transparent plastic wraps (ram was installed on the board).
Had a talk to iCarry again, on customer care helpline, they clearly said if no packaging video can be provided, they can't help.
Will try talking out to amazon logistics support team tomorrow.
Both cases, buyers were shared package images before dispatch, where the package looked completely different upon delivery.
Anyways, buyers not to be blamed, my fault that I never bothered making packaging videos, as been shipping via amazon for almost 2yrs now, never ever faced any issues.
The best I can do now is point at iCarry, the shipping mediator, or directly amazon.
But they will def try their best to deny any type of service to this situation.
Many people also saying that iCarry is the culprit, as they are mishandling the packages very often, hence their prices are lot lesser than shiprocket. In my opinion, this makes no sense, as iCarry is just the mediator, the package is picked by Amazon delivery guy, delivered by Amazon guy, goes through amazon transport, how come someone else be blamed here ?
My Future Aspects
I made another package, like earlier, mobo cpu ram cooler, to trap the iCarry team, as they were saying "WE NEED PACKAGING VIDEO", yes I made a complete uncut packaging video this time.
Booked to this 2nd guy, an old business contact of mine, via amazon shipping on icarry. Waiting for it to be picked up tomorrow.
Just hoping the theft happen again, and once this plan succeeds, Ima grab the neck of these iCarry freaks!
