K750i or 6233??

video playback is weak point of k750i .. camera and sound quality is where it shines .. and yes .. video recording of 6233 at vga quality at 15fps is very good ..i have seen it on my friends handset .. but its camera is way behind k750i where still photos are concerned .. also u can convert k750 to w800i .. and apply lots of hacks as i have done .. :ohyeah:

and video playback of 6233 is better than k750i ..
 
^^well, the joystick of k750i is the prime area of concern for me...so i guess, i have to go for the 6233..btw, the dealer here in kharghar doesnt have the black 6233..and i dont wanna go for the silver one...it looks pretty bad..:no: he's trying to procure it for the last 2 days but no luck till now..shucks..:@

is the black 6233 really tht hard to find?? I have seen it a lot on times with ppl, it looks a zillion time better than the silver one...gawd...why does it have to happen to me..GIMME BLACK..:(
 
^^ not much.. take a few pics in dark conditions & look for prominent rgb spots.. if they are large in size n number, only then get it replaced.. remember, a few small ones here n there are common with all avg nokia cams.. u wont notice them in sufficient light..

other thn tht, check the firmware version.. latest is 4.91

i purchased mine from a nokia priority dealer, so replacement was almost instant.... and yea, go for black! ;)

Honestly having owned both 6233 and K750i i would put my vote in 6233's bag.

Music playback is not better on K750i. There is hardly any difference as such. I have found so called GREAT MUSIC PLAYBACK quality of SE to be just a myth. Nokia phones are equally good in this department.

6233 is slick, screen is great ( both weekpoints of K750i). 6233 feels more sturdy.

When u look at both the phones side by side you wont feel like wanting to use K750i. Its getting really outdated really fast. Only good point of K750i is the 2MP camera. But even thats great in good lighting conditions. In dark light its output quality degrades a lot.

Yeah thanks, will check the firm ware version..btw, how much did u buy it for? the prices have drastically come down..its available for 9.2k now..but i'm having a hrd time finding the black one...the dealers say tht Nokia is trying to sell the old stock mostly inclusing the silver ones as most ppl like to go for the Black one...so they have ''created' a situation where they say tht the black one is not available..its just to offload the silver stockpile...sucks..:@

Had gone there today..even they dont have the black one..said they sold the last piece in the morning..:( But they have asked me to wait till monday, so tht they can procure it from their sources..:).. Lets see..n yeah, must say, they have vey good rates for cellphones..:D

Quite true...in fact, i was apprehensive of goin for the k750i from the very beginning simply because its getting outdated...and the joystick is a pain in the a$$.. have read a lot of bad things about the joystick in other forums..

so wanna play safe with the 6233..:)
 
Thats quite a drop really.. Should have waited.. lol

I bought it here in Chandigarh for 10.4k couple of weeks back.. And, they only had the black ones in stock.. no silver, no white ME's...

it does hv 320*240 vid recordin bt @ 15fps only and the 4mat iz 3gp wid amr audio:@ ya i kno tht sux

What more can you expect from a sub 10k cell..:P Infact, i think, in this price, what it is providing is pretty good.. obviously it will never replace your reliable handycam, but for casual takes, its pretty good..something you cud even proudly upload on youtube..:P the other cellphones in this price range are pretty pathetic when it comes to video recordings.. they are not even convincing on the small mobile screens, forget the playback on computer..;)

r u saying it abt video playback or video recording .. cos video playback of n73 is simply great ..:ohyeah:

but it does video recording at 352 x288 pixels at 15fps only . not 30 fps ..

the vid playbac iz gr8 bt only if u encode the vids @ 256 kbps coz if u go beyond tht thn the fps strts 2 drop:@ ..if u encode it @ 512kbps thn the fps will b arnd 15 and if u encode it @ 2mbps thn the fps will b arnd 4-5..btw am tlkin abt mp4 only..hvnt tried avi coz i h8 smart movie.....
 
mp4 i dont have much idea . but i use smart movie player and .avi format .. usually incode the movies in 512 kbps and the playback is as smooth as pc ..

infact just seen blood diamond on n73 .. awesome experience .. superb movie .. and
leo rocks ..:ohyeah:

and "mighty" term should be used with "n 95 " ..i think
 
^^Still no luck fiinding black 6233 anywhere in navi mumbai... sucks..why does it have to happen with me...as if they were waiting for me to buy it and then declare the shortage..cos it was available till a week back..:@ :no:
